What has been going on?

I was elected to Awards Chair at LDC in July, 2008.  I received the past submissions in October.  Only one email has been received for the awards it was regarding Membership Service. 

What is going to be going on?

All entries must be postmarked by January 2^nd, 2009.  Therefore, at this point I will be compiling information at the November Conference and writing for the Awards over Christmas break. 

Goals for next trimester:

1. Network at conference to gather information for the six categories:

            a. Best Community Outreach Project/Program

            b. Best Leadership Development Program

            c. Best Membership Service

            d. Best Membership Recruitment Campaign

            e. Best Journal

            f. Best Newsletter

2. Submit 2009 ACA Branch Awards

3. Create timeline and procedures for this position.
