Since taking this office in July, 2007, I have had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful members of this organization and it has been a pleasure to talk to you on the phone, in person and thru our emails.

I would like to take this opportunity to remind our chapter and division presidents that by-laws for each chapter and division need to be re-visited and updated to conform with TCA and ACA by-laws.  I will be working on the TCA Handbook after conference in preparation for this summer’s LDC and would appreciate having chapter and division revised by-laws ready for the Handbook by early June, 2009.  I will send out a reminder at the beginning of the new year so that you will have plenty of time to make revisions and have them voted on by your membership.  If you need copies of the TCA by-laws please email me and I will send them to you.  ACA by-laws are available at their website and I can send them also by email if you need them.

I will also be doing the TCA directory in the spring and would appreciate it if you could send me your new officers’ information as soon as you have your elections.

Please remind your members that we do most of our contacts thru emails and it is very important that they give us an accurate email address.
