TCA Leadership Development Conference 2009

Tennessee Technological University, Cookeville, TN

July 9-11, 2009

ALL CHAPTERS/DIVISIONS are requested to bring President, President-Elect and one Emerging Leader (preferably 3 different people for leadership development!).  TCA will reimburse mileage and lodging (if rooms are shared by 2 individuals) for these 3 individuals. If you are traveling from the same areas, please carpool if possible. This will allow the organization to keep mileage reimbursement costs at a minimum. 

If your chapter/division would like to bring an additional person, such as membership chair, etc., they will be welcome, but the chapter/division is expected to bear that expense.

LODGING:  Country Inn & Suites located at Exit 287 off I-40

Shared room expenses will be covered by TCA. Room rate is $69.45—a really good deal negotiated for us by our friend, Jim Gray, at Tennessee Tech. Those wishing to have an individual room will be paying half the cost ($35, plus any incidental expenses incurred). 

BUSINESS MEETINGS:  Tennessee Technological University campus student center.

Detailed Thursday/Friday/Saturday itineraries and agendas will be emailed to registrants in advance of our meeting. 

Extra copies will be available at the hotel registration desk.

9am     Business meeting for all participants (including emerging leaders) at Tennessee Tech

11am   Box lunches/soft drinks provided for working lunch

1:30     Depart for Pontoon Boat Ride

5:30     Return to Country Inn & Suites

7pm     Pizza at the Country Inn & Suites

Specify if you want a room by yourself. If you want a room by yourself, you will be responsible for 1/2 the room cost ($ 35 and any incidentals) (TCA does not pay for friends/family who accompany you to Cookeville).

Any TCA member is welcome and invited to attend and participate in LDC. However, if you are not an officer or you are not a new emerging leader, you will be responsible for all of your own expenses.
