1. TACES members voted to change the by-laws regarding nominations for the

office of president. The wording which was adopted via electronic vote reads:

“Nominations for the office of president will rotate annually among

regions in the following sequence: East Tennessee, Middle Tennessee,

West Tennessee unless a nominee from the designated region can not be

identified. Within one month of the time that there has been a call for

nominations, then any TACES member may be nominated regardless of

the state region.”

2. Dr. Ted Remley is scheduled to present at the TACES sponsored pre-conference

workshop at the TCA conference. Dr. Remley’s presentation is Legal and Ethical

Issues: Counseling Children in Schools and Community Agencies.

spearheaded by several TACES members and we are proud to announce that

copies will be distributed at the TCA Conference.

4. TACES was proud to sponsor the attendance of Eva Gibson from Argosy and

Shelly Goins from UTK at the ACES emerging leader workshop.

5. The next business meeting of TACES will be held during the School Counseling
