TSCA Fall Report

In July, TSCA executive board had it’s business meeting. We got busy planning our Pre-

Conference session, developed our year’s budget, discussed leadership and changes that

we need to bring to our members.

Brian Law, ASCA Pres-Elect will be our Pre-Conference speaker….holding 2 sessions for our members.

We  have developed guidelines for our Professional Recognition Awards, which we think will help members who wish to nominate someone and understand the process better.

We developed some changes to TSCA’s Fiscial Policy, changes that were needed to clarify some areas of our  policies.  And some changes need for new procedures.

These changes will be discussed, clarified and hopefully passed at our Nov. business meeting.

Tracy Watson has been busy developing our Conference Luncheon program….looking forward to that event.

I have been in touch with some members from Watauga Association, and will be working with them to revitalize that chapter.

I have not been invited to attend any chapter meetings, but hope to in the coming months.

I also plan to attend Smokey Mountains spring conference as Nita and I did last year and gain members.
