WTCA

West Tennessee Counseling America

The University of Memphis hosted our first dinner meeting on September 20, 2007.  We were excited about the presence of 77 WTCA members at our first meeting.  We hope that the attendance will continue to grow as we work toward the goal of attendance.

Our speaker was Belinda Tate-Hardy, LCSW Chief of Social Work, at Boling Center for Developmental Disabilities.  She shared information on “Special Needs Children.”

Remington Career of Memphis will sponsor the next meeting on November 13th at the Doubletree Hotel downtown. The topic will be on “Children of Divorce.”

 Other meetings scheduled are for:

January 17, 2008 – Hosted by Christian Brothers University

Topic – Juvenile Sexual Offenders

March – Date TBA – Hosted by Concorde Career College

April – Date TBA – will be the WTCA/ASVAB’s Annual Awards Banquet
